Cheese Sticks

We LOVE cheese sticks and have been experimenting with so many recipe ideas for over a year until today! We figured it out! Want to know how to make 1-point cheese sticks? Watch the video and let us know what you think! Enjoy!

Points: πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œ (1 point per cheese stick)

[Makes 16]

Ingredients:

  • 16 Wonton Wrappers [πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œ 1 per 2 wrapper]

  • 1 Egg [πŸ’š 2 πŸ’™πŸ’œ 0]

  • 4 Cheese Strings [πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œ 2 per cheestring]

  • Clubhouse Everything Bagel Seasoning

  • Clubhouse Italiano

  • 1/3 Cup Panko [πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œ 3]

  • Water

Note: We do not count the egg or panko as both are spread between 16 different cheese sticks. If you eat them all yourself, I would add the extra points based on your plan.

Instructions:

  1. Cut cheese strings into 4 equal pieces by first cutting the cheese string at the middle and then cutting each half lengthwise.

  2. Lay wonton on a flat surface and lay cheese string on top.

  3. Dab water on the outer edges of the wonton wrapper.

  4. Wrap cheese string with the wonton by folding in the sides and rolling until wonton is closed.

  5. In a bowl, whisk the egg until well beaten.

  6. In a separate bowl, combine panko and spices.

  7. Dip the wrapped cheese string in the egg mixture and then roll in the panko.

  8. Place 8 of them in the air fryer and cook for 4 to 5 minutes at 200F.
